Heather Buschman, Ph.D is the Scientific Writer & Liaison for the Consortium for Functional Glycomics (CFG), located at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, Calif. She provides a medium for communication within the CFG and between the CFG and the scientific community by publishing a quarterly newsletter, writing highlights of recent glycobiology publications, supporting meetings of the various CFG committees, and providing the CFG's funding agency with regular progress reports.
