is a type II membrane protein with an external mannose-binding, C-type lectin domain. Based on
the genomic structure and the predicted functional domains of the protein, a non-conditional
targeted vector was designed deleting exons 1 to 5 (inclusive) and replacing them with a
selectable marker.
